Finish Your "To-Do" List
Finish your To-Do list
Is your list of projects growing? Are you overwhelmed because of it? Many are burdened with strains of taking work outside of the office and going to bed with a running to-do list. American workers can get stressed because they leave so many projects unfinished.
Tips to help getting a project finished:
When making a To-Do List, list all concerns of home and work.
To make a To-Do List more manageable, write only the first step of a project.
Establish a “Focus Time” where you make 15-minute blocks where you turn off all e-mail alerts, phones and put a sign on the door that conveys that you are unavailable.
Entertain the idea of leaving the office to accomplish a task is possible, to disconnect from phones, e-mail and other electronics
There’s nothing wrong to just take an hour to finish up a project.
